This is a concert grade Aged Rosewood Gaohu by Liu Ji Feng.
The resonator is octagonal shaped, tapering out at the back like a trumpet. It has a plate which you can screw on in front, to create the effect of clamping it between your legs like a Guangdong Gaohu.
The tone produced is thus bright and clear with a tinge of sweetness.

About the Maker
A member of the China Entertainment Technology Association, LJF is an erhu maker currently based in Jinghai District, Tianjin. LJF's skills in producing the erhu has been listed as part of Jinghai District's Intangible Cultural Heritage, with a popular acceptance worldwide for the erhus that LJF creates. Other than using machines to cut up raw materials, LJF firmly believes in creating his masterpiece erhu by hand, showcasing the intricacy and dedication in his work.

We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error.
